ENGL 27003. TEACHING WRITING This course introduces students to the theory and practice of writing instruction. Students explore theories concerning writing process, genre and discourse theory, linguistics and grammar, and pedagogy. Assignments and class discussions will prompt students to examine their own history as a writer, and to analyze and apply different strategies for working with writers in different settings. [AH, W]
