ARTS 25900. INTERMEDIATE PHOTOGRAPHY Intermediate Photography is taught in a rotational manner in order to give students a wide variety of depth of exploration in materials and skills in darkroom practices, such as non-silver antiquated process, book arts and digital photography. Running parallel to these technical investigations, assigned readings and discussions will address contemporary issues surrounding photography and the digitalized image. Students will be introduced to different ways of conceptualizing and interpreting photography based on such variables as process and technology. Emphasis will be placed on developing creative photographic projects and generating a cohesive body of work for each student.
