PSYC 39934. PSYCHOLOGY OF RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY This is a course on religion and spirituality from a psychological perspective. Students will engage with both basic and advanced concepts in areas such as religious and spiritual development across the life span, religious communities, conversion and deconversion, mysticism and spirituality, supernatural experiences, and religions contributions to health outcomes. Although this course emphasizes empirical psychological research, it may also include interviews, videos, guest speakers, and podcasts. Pre-requisite: PSYC 10000 and PSYC 25000.
