THTD 30103. PLAYWRITING Playwriting is intended to provide beginning playwrights an opportunity to explore the craft through various writing exercises involving structure, character and idea development, setting, dialogue and more. Writing assignments include the creation of a ten-minute play and a one-act. In addition, students will be exposed to several dramatic texts, the process of writing, and the ins and outs of the professional world. [W]
