ENGL 16500. EDITING A LITERARY MAGAZINE (THE DODGE) By serving as editorial assistants for The Dodge, a nationally distributed magazine of eco-fiction and literature in translation, students will explore the process of editing a professional literary magazine. Students will read submissions, assist with the maintenance and design of the magazine's website, create social media content for the journal, and help to proofread and publish accepted works. Students will also be required to do research in the history of the American literary journal as well to examine other literary magazines. Instructor permission required for registration.
