Welcome to Spanish 102: Beginning Spanish Level II at the College of Wooster! Spanish 102 is an introductory course designed for students with some prior knowledge of Spanish. In this course, the emphasis is on use of Spanish for everyday communication, and on the cultural meaning of language. This means that our language classroom space is an interactive learning laboratory. Each class meeting functions as a practice session or rehearsal: a space to experiment with language, to make - and correct - errors, and to ask questions. Outside of class, you will access a variety of online resources designed to facilitate acquisition of speaking and listening skills, and to introduce and practice elementary grammar, reading and writing skills in Spanish. You will also expand your knowledge of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world
